We purchased the month global pass, once I figured out how it worked, it was easy. Watching videos on it helped. There were and are some confusing areas. It'll plan a journey with the London tubes, which most aren't part of the pass. When you are planning a journey, remember to give yourself time between transfers, like you would for flight connections. Most of the conductors couldn't scan the QR, but upon seeing the global pass they OK'D the tickets. We're able to change train tickets easily.

Hi Brenda,
Thanks for sharing your experience, glad to hear the Pass worked well once you got the hang of it! You’re right, the app can sometimes include routes like the London Underground that aren’t covered, and leaving extra time for transfers is definitely wise. We’re working to make route info and QR scanning smoother for future travellers.

very good but not perfect. Only used for planning a trip and booking seats so far, we haven't activated it and used it to travel. One small irritating thing is a journey with multiple changes... the app shows the entire linked journey which is great. But if one leg requires a booked seat that isn't available, so you need to change leg 2 or 3 etc to a later train the app isn't flexible enough to allow a leg to be "later", you have to enter each leg as a separate journey to fix the timings.

Dear Bob,
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We understand how the lack of flexibility in adjusting only parts of a journey can be frustrating. We’ll share this with our team to explore improvements for smoother trip changes.

This app isn't the easiest to learn how to use. They should provide video tutorials on how to use it. It doesn't provide real time updates on train statuses. I used other apps to see the status of train delays or cancelations. Spain's Renfe trains didn't let us buy all train routs through Eurail. But this is Renfe's fault. We took many trains, so we did save money compared to purchasing individual tickets. So the Eurail pass was worth it. But be prepared to pay $8-$25 for seat reservations.
